Rice

Whole grain rice refers to rice that has not been milled or polished to remove the bran and germ layers. These layers contain a variety of nutrients, including fiber, B vitamins, and minerals such as iron and zinc.

Whole grain rice tends to be more nutritious than white rice, which has had the bran and germ removed during processing, and can be found as brown rice, black rice, and red rice.
