Barley

Barley is a versatile grain cultivated for thousands of years. Primarily used as a cereal grain and is a member of the grass family, it’s flexible and can be used as pearled barley, where the outer husk and bran layers are removed, hulled barley, where only the outer husk is removed, or milled into flour, which is commonly used in baking bread, cakes, and other baked goods.

Barley has a mild, slightly sweet flavor and offers a range of culinary possibilities, providing a rich flavor, texture, and nutritional value to a variety of dishes.
