Description: Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 29th, 2012 and come celebrate Hawaii’s beloved grain at the Third Annual Hawaii Rice Festival. The event is being held at Ward Warehouse from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. A full day of activities is planned including cookoffs, contests, demonstrations, yummy food, and an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the world’s Largest SPAM Musubi!
We’ll be taking brown rice donations for Lanakila Pacific’s “Meals on Wheels” program, which feeds needy seniors.
